The Centre will act as a nodal agency to monitor the economic growth of the region. The university besides imparting education owes responsibility of socio-economic development of the students, faculty members and people in this region. It will provide a data base about: potential economic opportunities, identifying the problems of various segments, assessing strengths and weaknesses of agricultural, industrial and service sector.
