The functioning of the Centre will be confined to the geographical area of the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
The Centre shall collaborate with other agencies necessary for studies.
Decide indicators for assessing imbalances in development.
Create adequate infrastructure providing technical facilities like library, computing services, Internet, staff etc.
Create awareness among various sections of population like women, children, tribals, factory workers, students, farmers, farm labourers etc. leading to empowerment and inclusive growth.
Determine district wise imbalances after 1960.
Suggest a suitable policy structure to improve the situation.
Suggest appropriate methods for ensuring equitable allocations of development expenditure for Amravati Region.
Suggest appropriate methods for overall development of area of centre.
